TASHA - Spring Classic

Equestrian America Debuts at the TASHA Spring Classic
he Equestrian America team was proud to step into the show ring at the Texas American Saddle Horse Association (TASHA) Spring Classic, one of the region’s most beloved early-season shows. Hosted in the heart of Texas Saddlebred country, the Spring Classic brought together passionate competitors, dazzling horses, and a shared love for the breed—and we were honored to be part of it under the banner of Vantage Point Farm.
A Show ring Debut for Mountjoy's She's My Choice
Founder Erik made his debut with the striking Mountjoy's She's My Choice, stepping into the ring for the very first time as a team. From the moment they entered the arena, this elegant pair commanded attention—showcasing not just beauty and presence, but a growing bond that promises a powerful future. There’s something magical about the first time a horse and rider truly connect in the ring, and this debut was a testament to that spark.
Josh & ASB Super Goji Light Up the Pleasure Driving Division
Meanwhile, Josh returned to the show ring with crowd favorite ABS Super Goji, competing in the Pleasure Driving division. With his classic motion, expressive face, and undeniable charisma, Goji brought joy (and plenty of admiration) to the arena. Josh and Goji’s performance reflected not only hours of preparation, but also deep respect for the discipline and the heritage it represents.
Representing the Vantage Point Farm Team
It was a true privilege to compete as part of the Vantage Point Farm team—a barn known for its dedication to training excellence, sportsmanship, and Saddlebred advocacy. Being surrounded by riders, trainers, and families who share our values made the weekend all the more meaningful. The camaraderie, encouragement, and collective celebration of every rider’s journey reminded us why we do this.
More Than a Show
For Equestrian America, this weekend wasn’t just about ribbons—it was about living the mission. We believe in amplifying the equestrian voice, championing the American Saddlebred, and showing up with authenticity and pride. Competing in Texas—among riders of all levels and backgrounds—was a powerful reminder of the strength and diversity of our community.
We left the TASHA Spring Classic inspired, grateful, and more motivated than ever to keep showing up—for our sport, for our horses, and for each other.
